    Relationship Ladder Theory!
    Wednesday, February 15th, 2012

Hi everyone! This is Lucy blogging today! :) Back in high school I met a teacher (he wasn’t even my teacher but he talked to me anyways since I was asian -.-) named Mr. Than and he would try to explain things to me. One of the things he tried to explain to me was his Relationship Ladder Theory.

This is Mr. Baolinh Than’s version of the relationship ladder theory that I copied and pasted off his page when I asked him to re-explain it to me! It’s amusing to read even if you don’t believe it! :D

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

“The ladder theory: When it comes to potential mate, human beings subconsciously place everyone of the opposite sex around them on a ladder, the higher a person is up on the ladder, the better chance they have of becoming your mate.

For guys, there is only one ladder: READ, to a guy, any girl is a potential mate. For girls, there are two ladders: the FRIEND ladder and the RELATIONSHIP ladder. For girls, below both ladder is a cesspool titled: YOU’RE LIKE A BROTHER TO ME. Trust me, if you like a girl, you don’t want to be in her “You’re Like a brother to me” cesspool.

For guys, this is pretty simple: You are my friends (ie, I’m not fucking you,) because there is someone else above you on the ladder. As that someone else drop off the ladder due to various reasons (they got a restraining order, they turned ugly, etc.) A guy will subconsciously moved down the ladder and the girl that was once “just friends” will now be consider for a mate. The conclusion? Guys are scum, even if you think they’re your friends, They will try to sleep with you the first chance they get.

For girls, it’s a little bit more complicated: A girl decides right away within 30 seconds if she’s attracted to a guy upon meeting. Instinctively, she will placed him in the FRIEND ladder (where he will never get to see her naked,) or the RELATIONSHIP ladder (where there is a chance he will get to see her naked.) Below that is the “You’re like a brother to me” pool, reserves for your gay friends and fat but huggable man bear guy friend.

Most girl will disagree: “I married MY BEST FRIEND, you’re wrong.” NO , you shut your whore mouth when men are talking, you’re wrong. All that meant is that upon first meeting your husband, you placed him in the bottom rung of the relationship ladder, so technically you’re friends. As all the asshole, selfcenteredd musicians/badboys/athletes that you’re sleeping with started leaving you, your husband moved up the ladder, and thus now you are married. You have reached the bottom of the ladder, congratulation on a happy future.

Guys, can you ever escape the FRIEND LADDER and jumped onto the Relationship ladder? Fear not, two things can help you escape the Friends ladder: Alcohol, and Money.

I do not need to warn you about the negative effects of alcohol and every one do things they regret while high or drunk. What’s more interesting is the effect of instant money and fame have on relationships. I’m not saying all girls are like this but, a guy sure look a hell lot better while drunk or stuffed with money. Therefore, a girl might be inclined to take him out of the FRIEND ladder and move him to the very top of the Relationship ladder for a brief moment, either until she sobered up or he ran out of money.”
